The loyalty you ask of me,
My love, I'll grant most heartily.
For you are one that I adore,
And want to be with more and more.
But one thing that I ask of you,
Is that you also remain true.
To yourself as well as me,
Never forsaking loyalty.

Insult
My lady, you insulted me,
When you rejected my advance.
As every eye could plainly see,
You wanted to be in my arms.
But you are scared of what will come,
When I take you from your home,
And show to you all of the fun,
You can have when not alone.
When you rejected my advance.
As every eye could plainly see,
You wanted to be in my arms.
But you are scared of what will come,
When I take you from your home,
And show to you all of the fun,
You can have when not alone.

Song of Blades
Under the crimson sky of mournful dusk,
The song of blades,
Persisted in its deadly rhythm.
And night would be the only thing to last,
For those of us,
Whose blades failed to listen.
The song of blades,
Persisted in its deadly rhythm.
And night would be the only thing to last,
For those of us,
Whose blades failed to listen.

Lorrie
Lorrie was here on the day,
She came of age at seventeen.
In my arms peacefully she lay,
She looked as if in a dream.
I looked into her eyes and said,
"You know all the things you want,
And all the challenges you've met,
Have crumbled as your dreams unfold."
She smiled as I told her,
Things she already knew.
She said, "I like to hear that,
Because it comes from you."
She came of age at seventeen.
In my arms peacefully she lay,
She looked as if in a dream.
I looked into her eyes and said,
"You know all the things you want,
And all the challenges you've met,
Have crumbled as your dreams unfold."
She smiled as I told her,
Things she already knew.
She said, "I like to hear that,
Because it comes from you."
Trade
Go forward you,
And walk the world,
Unflinching sons of liberty.
It's you of whom stories are told,
Tales of selfish purity.
Lift up the sky,
With your tall homes,
And dig inside the earth for wealth.
Trade in the many things you own,
For things that you want for yourself.
And walk the world,
Unflinching sons of liberty.
It's you of whom stories are told,
Tales of selfish purity.
Lift up the sky,
With your tall homes,
And dig inside the earth for wealth.
Trade in the many things you own,
For things that you want for yourself.
Queen
She holds the reins of power,
In the long folds of her gown.
Her kingdom is the only lover,
That she has ever known.
In the long folds of her gown.
Her kingdom is the only lover,
That she has ever known.
Her Poem
The glowing light that's all around her,
Is an illusionary measure,
Of the extraordinary pleasure,
Which her existence gives to me.
And when I look at what she grants me,
Simply with a lazy smile,
As if she is in denial,
Of the effect she has on me,
I laugh and love her all the more,
And write my verse quietly,
So that I may read it proudly,
The next time that she smiles at me.
Is an illusionary measure,
Of the extraordinary pleasure,
Which her existence gives to me.
And when I look at what she grants me,
Simply with a lazy smile,
As if she is in denial,
Of the effect she has on me,
I laugh and love her all the more,
And write my verse quietly,
So that I may read it proudly,
The next time that she smiles at me.
Number One
She sings a lullaby to him,
Though he's in pain and cannot win.
He lies in bed, waiting for death,
The only thing left, is to rest.
But she will wait until it's done,
Singing to her number one.
Though he's in pain and cannot win.
He lies in bed, waiting for death,
The only thing left, is to rest.
But she will wait until it's done,
Singing to her number one.
Her Pet
Her pet smiles in her embrace,
And cuddles deeper in her arms.
As this is, the only place,
Where he feels safe, and free from harm.
She loves him with all of her heart,
And hugs him till his breath is gone.
So every morning, when they part,
He knows that- she will come home.
And cuddles deeper in her arms.
As this is, the only place,
Where he feels safe, and free from harm.
She loves him with all of her heart,
And hugs him till his breath is gone.
So every morning, when they part,
He knows that- she will come home.
